a few days ago marked the 6 year anniversary of my mom’s passing. ancestor work is so integral to everything i do. if you’ve been thinking of starting an ancestor practice, take this as a sign if you’d like. a candle and a glass of water can move mountains.

i just started the second book in Jay Kristoff’s Empire of the Vampire series. highly recommended series if you’re into vampires and dark fantasy/horror.

I have tried several times to engage with my ancestors over the years, but I always get a “not interested” vibe from them. I may need to move further back in my line or become more general. Anyway, sorry to hear about your Mum.
